Pymgate Lodge Hotel Manchester Airport

It was an ideal location for us as we’d hired a car from Manchester airport & were visiting family in the surrounding local areas & it was also very easy from the hotel location to walk into Gatley. Owners are very friendly & keen to help if you needed anything at all. Would highly recommend it & I imagine ideal for anyone needing a stopover night if flying in or out of Manchester airport. Plus it has free on-site parking.

I had informed the hotel that it was my birthday and that I wanted to do something special for my girlfriend—and they truly went above and beyond. From the beautifully decorated room with balloons and a delicious cake to the thoughtful welcome and warm hospitality, everything was perfect. We were genuinely touched by the attention to detail and the care that went into making our stay so memorable. It was a heartfelt surprise that helped us create unforgettable memories together. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay, making us feel truly special. We absolutely loved our experience and would love to visit again. Thank you so much—we’ll definitely be recommending this hotel to friends and family!

Period property close to airport with a host recommended taxi from airport to hotel and vise versa. I requested a ground floor room which was comfortable and nicely furnished in tasteful style. Comfy bed with cotton bedding. Ensuite small but adequate for my 1 night stay. The property has a lounge and dining room and offers bed and breakfast and dinner if booked. I booked room only due to my flight time so did not sample meals. Arrived late but my host made me an omlette, perfect for the late hour and after a long haul flight. The property is about 10 mins from the airport and has adequate parking. My welcome there could not be better. If you are looking for accommodation with character and a more personal experience than a motel this would be a good choice as it is family run. Would stay there again.

The room was pleasant, clean and just what we needed for a night's stay. The directions to self-check-in after hours, were very helpful. Fifteen minutes in the car/taxi from the airport, give or take. My wife had the continental breakfast and I had the cooked English breakfast, which were both really tasty and just what we needed after a late flight the night before. The host was very accommodating, friendly and charming. Would recommend if you're passing by.

Closer to the airport less than 10mins by car. Parking was free and we had no trouble to find space. The staff were very friendly. The room was clean, and had a good size. We had the English breakfast in the morning, £12 each, and it was delicious.
